Reports are that police are searching for a Hispanic male named Jason Rodriguez, 40, wearing a polo shirt and jeans who is still on the run. Police have said the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is driving a 2002 silver nissan SUV with a Florida license plate of D119UX.
Police have released a description of a possible suspect in the shootings at a downtown Orlando high-rise Friday morning.
Reports
are that police are searching for a Hispanic male named Jason
Rodriguez, 40, wearing a polo shirt and jeans who is still on the run.
Police spokesperson Sgt. Barbara Jones said that a motive has not been determined but it is possible the suspect was a disgruntled former employee who worked in the Gateway Center building.
Police
have said the suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, is

Numerous roads, including I-4, local high schools and other office buildings have been locked down and closed.

Police would not confirm deaths or injuries but did say that officers
transported five people to Orlando Regional Medical Center with an
unknown status.
Police and firefighters were called to the
Gateway Center at 100 Legion Place around 11:30 a.m. after there were
reports of a shooting on the eighth floor. According to officials,
multiple victims were reported shot in the dispatch call.
Witnesses
said at numerous ambulances and dozens of police cars and fire engines
have arrived at the scene and gurneys were seen being wheeled into the
building.
Police said they are still combing the area for the suspect and are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect.
The Gateway Center is a 16-story high-rise in downtown that was built in 1999.
